A $5 Service Fee may be charged for any missed appointments. We, unfortunately, have had many no shows and it is unfair to clients and staff members. You have up to 30 minutes before your scheduled appointment to cancel via this site. We appreciate your understanding on this matter.

Level 6 and 7 SUNBEDS are fully booked throughout the day. We cannot hold bookings (as per policy) or tan you past your scheduled tan time if you are late. Please arrive 5 minutes before your session.

If you feel you need more time for your first spray tan or tanning session please email us at or call your location to request this. We want to make sure you have the best experience and tan possible.

 We respectfully ask all clients to be finished within 10 minutes of the closing time to allow for closing duties to be completed. Example: Studio closes at 7 pm, Client must be finished and ready to leave by 7:10 pm.



Booking your tan is simple, just visit and click the “Book a Tan” button on the top right to take you directly to this page. Booking your tan is recommended, scheduling online reserves your spot so you can focus on enjoying your session. Walk-in sessions are accepted but can only book for the same day in the studio and scheduled appointments can not be adjusted to accommodate any unscheduled appointments.

We also reserve the right to adjust the appointments within a 5-minute range to accommodate client bookings.

Remember to check your spam or trash folder if you do not see a booking confirmation email in your Inbox.


Clients have a 5 minute grace period for a late arrival on any booked session. iTAN reserves the right to give your appointment away past the 5 minute late time.  If you arrive 5 minutes late you will have lost 5 minutes of your time. This policy has been implemented to respect all the new cleaning procedures expected by the Ottawa Health Unit and other clients’ reserved time slots.


For Spray Tan Members & Clients: 1 spray tan appointment per booking. You can book your next spray tan once your scheduled session is completed. For an ultimate spray tan, iTAN recommends a session every 4-5 days. Oversaturation could potentially cause a less than optimal result. Spray Tip: Purchase iTAN’s exfoliating mitt or body wash scrub to use before each spray for maximum results. Click here for “how to prep for a spray tan session”


For Sunbed Clients iTAN Studios and Health Canada recommend 48 hours in between every Sunbed tanning session. Booking is allowed up to a certain number of days each week and adjusted accordingly based on availability, time of year, and client demand.


Please arrive a minimum of 5 minutes before your scheduled appointment. Late arrivals may be subject to adjusted tan times based on the booking schedule.

iTAN reserves the right to adjust and/or cancel any bookings at any time based on demand and availability. If a scheduled appointment is adjusted or canceled beyond our control, iTAN will do its best to accommodate another time slot but can not guarantee it.


Clients can schedule up to 10 minutes before any open time slot.

Clients must cancel, or change their booking, 60 minutes before your scheduled appointment. If a cancellation, or change, is not done within the 60-minute window it will be considered a missed appointment. A $5 Service fee may apply for missed appointments.

To cancel, or change an appointment, here are the options:

  • Go to your original booking confirmation email, and click “My Appointment”
  • Or go to click the “Book a Tan” button to link you to our scheduler.

If you miss 1 scheduled appointment, without proper cancellation, your booking privileges may be suspended and you will only be able to do walk-in tans.

iTAN is no different than any other business that schedules appointments, if you miss your scheduled time it affects iTAN’s Operations and also Clients who may have wanted to book your time slot.

NOTE:  leaving voicemails, private messages on social media platforms, or emails to iTAN is appreciated but is not acceptable for canceling or changing an appointment.
